Kde a kdy budou letošní Ceny?

Ceny Velkého bratra, ve kterých oceníme největší narušitele soukromí za rok 2025, budou v úterý 14. dubna 2026 v Praze v klubu BikeJesus na ostrově Štvanice.

Od 18:00 do 19:30 se na ostrově Štvanice souběžně uskuteční tři diskuzní shromáždění:

Trapped in Artificial Intelligence
Chytré děti bez chytrých mobilů?
Digitální soukromí (skoro) pro všechny

Sraz na všechna shromáždění v 18:00 před BikeJesus.

Od 20:00 do cca 21:00 proběhne v klubu BikeJesus samotné udílení Cen.

Je potřeba se někde registrovat, platit vstup?

Letošní ročník je zcela zdarma.

Na ceremoniál od 20:00 není potřeba se registrovat. Pro účast na diskuzních shromážděních od 18:00 oceníme, když nám o vaší účasti dáte vědět zde.

Při vstupu na diskuzní shromáždění i na ceremoniál vás poprosíme o potvrzení účasti vyplněním stručného formuláře. Ten potřebujeme pro reportování projektu Democratic Digital Commons, v rámci kterého letos celou akci pořádáme. Součástí projektu jsou i další mezinárodní diskuzní shromáždění, na které se můžete přihlásit tady.

Co prakticky znamená, že je letošní ročník česko-anglický?

Jedno ze tří diskuzních shromáždění od 18:00 je zcela v angličtině (Trapped in Artificial Intelligence). Ceremoniál od 20:00 bude moderován v češtině, umělecké vstupy a ocenění však budou anglicky. Sečtene podtrženo: vše bude zábavné jak pro ty, kdo umí pouze česky, tak pro ty, kdo vládnou pouze angličtinou.

Where and when will this year’s awards take place?

The 21st Big Brother Awards, where we recognize the biggest privacy violators of 2025, will take place on Tuesday, April 14 in Prague at the BikeJesus club on Štvanice Island.

From 6pm to 7:30pm three assemblies will be held on Štvanice Island: one of them (Trapped in Artificial Intelligence) in English. We will meet at 6pm in front of BikeJesus club.
From 8pm to 9pm, the awards ceremony itself will take place at BikeJesus club.

Do I need to register or pay an entrance fee?

This year’s event is completely free.

No registration is required for the ceremony starting at 8pm. For the assemblies starting at 6pm, we would appreciate it if you let us know about your attendance here.

At the entrance to both the discussions and the ceremony, you will be asked to confirm your participation by filling out a short form. This is needed for reporting within the Democratic Digital Commons project, under which this year’s event is organized. The project also includes other international discussion gatherings that you can sign up for here.

What does it mean that this year’s event is Czech-English?

One of the three discussion gatherings at 6pm will be entirely in English (Trapped in Artificial Intelligence). The ceremony at 8pm will be hosted in Czech, but the artistic performances and award announcements will be in English. In short: the event will be enjoyable both for those who speak only Czech and those who speak only English.
